It is believed the Old Olive Mill was originally built by the Venetians sometime around the late 13th Century.

Unfortunately over the centuries the building fell into ruin with only the two original Venetian arches and some of the lower exterior wall remaining.

Under guidance from the Greek Archaeological, restoration started in early 2000 and the footprint of the main house now resembles what it would have looked like all those years ago.
